Tomorrowland is more like a vision of tomorrow from the past that didn’t happen. No, really.
There are a few key elements:
Space Mountain – this can be seen in the movie Tomorrowland – fast fun ride – definitely get a fast pass!
Carousel of Progress – yes this needs to be update. I would combine the first two rooms, expand on the second to be the 40’s to the 60’s and make the last room the 70’s to the 90’s. Create a new last room to be what we envision the future to be like. It’s nicely air conditioned and a Walt original.
The Astro Orbiter – this has been beautifully restored to bright brilliant colors. However, it’s a spinny ride on the top of a building! Eeek!
Buzz Lightyear’s Space Ranger Spin – cute ride, you get to shoot lasers. Always a long line – fast pass this.
Monsters, Inc. Laugh Floor – cute and entertaining improv show.
Stitches Great Escape – sad remodel of a great scary ride. It’s perfectly acceptable to skip this.
Peoplemover – Tomorrowland Transit Authority – relaxing and a great view of a lot of the park and the castle. I highly recommend this and the line seems to move well.
Stop in for a meal at Cosmic Ray’s Starlight Café and enjoy the entertainment by Sonny Eclipse. Food is good, seats are plenty and the show is cute.
There is also a dance party that really burns the energy for the little ones. It’s hosted by the Incredibles and is located at the stage between Space Mountain and the Carousel of Progress.
