The Grand Floridian Café located at the Grand Floridian Resort and Spas is a Victorian delight. Obviously the setting is amazing. Take time before and/or after your meal to walk around and sit and enjoy the atmosphere. It’s like no other resort and you need to really take your time to absorb it all.
If you are not driving then the monorail and boats provide a wonderful entrance to the Grand Floridian. No bad angles or view here. Take pictures! Hang out in the lobby. Enjoy the live music.
You should make reservations for the Grand Floridian Café as they can be busy. Tables in Wonderland and Cast Member discounts apply. The service is fantastic and the menu isn’t overly large but there are some wonderful options. Ask your server what they recommend.
They are known for the French Onion soup. I think it rivals the version at Be Our Guest in the new Fantasy Land in Magic Kingdom. I had the Surf N’ Turf burger and was not disappointed. It’s a nice sized burger with Maine lobster on top served with French fried root vegetables.
You may as well have desert! I suggest the sampler. There are several small versions of the best deserts ever! Anything served with a solid chocolate Mickey Mouse has to be wonderful!
The Café is not cheap but worth it. Go for lunch and save a little.
