Cinderella’s Castle is the center point of the Magic Kingdom in Walt Disney World. The view that you see walking down Main Street truly leaves an impression. It’s sheer size makes it a landmark. The castle can be viewed from almost anywhere in the park and adjoining resorts. Wishes is the fireworks show and should not be missed.
Here are some fun facts:
The castle is 189 feet tall. At 200 feet tall, it would be required to have flashing lights on it to signal planes.
There are 27 towers. You really do need to do a 360 to view them all.
The castle is made of steel and plaster – not bricks.
The turrets do not come off in case of hurricanes. That’s just an urban myth.
There is a suite inside the castle 4 stories up. It is Cinderella’s Castle Suite that sleeps up to 6.
