Disney’s Pop Century Resort

Pop Century is my favorite Value Resort and probably in my top 5 favorite of all the Walt Disney World Resorts. The theming is by decade – 50’s, 60’s, 70’s and 80’s with a touch of the 90’s. It opened in December 2003. This is a fun place to visit even if you don’t stay.

The colors are bright and cheery. The giant Big Wheel is almost as great as the giant Mickey Phone. The main pool – the Hippy Dippy pool is fun and always has activities going on. Don’t worry, there’s is also a bar! I really like the Bowling Pin Pool. There is a laundry building right at it. FYI the bowling pins are 65 feet high!

The food court has plenty of seating, a lot of selections and of course mugs/refills. Like all Disney Resorts, they have pizza delivery. I highly suggest trying the tie die cheesecake.

The rooms are not huge but have either one king or two double beds. Each room has a flat screen tv, small fridge and all resorts and parks have free wi-fi.
